Or how do you decolonize the internet, which is a whole world of very ambitious and academic thinking, which is very progressive and important work

In this edition Yorgo Lykouria talks to Beatrice Galilee, a curator, critic and cultural consultant specialising in the field of contemporary architecture and design. They discuss how to design for human experiences, not just those as defined by Western society, but taking into account a diverse range of cultures using progressive global and interdisciplinary ideas. This theme is central to The World Around, a new platform for architecture and design discourse of which Galilee is co-founder and executive director. The podcast subject matter ranges from addressing the climate catastrophe to the concerns and possibilities around the metaverse, especially the use of virtual reality.
